Llansteffan is a village on the coast of Carmarthenshire, in south-west Wales. It lies on the western side of the River Tywi estuary, some seven miles below the county town of Carmarthen and opposite the village of Ferryside.
Described as one of Wales' best kept secrets it is a place of peace and beauty with the magnificent ruins of LLansteffan Castle looking down over the village and catching the rays of the evening sun over Carmarthen Bay.
The village is situated on the Pilgrims Way with excellent coastal and country walks.
